Australian Gayatri Initiations
Srila B A Keshava Maharaja on the day of Valentines day performed the Gayatri initiations for Arjuna Prabhu, Janhavi Devi Dasi and Cintamani Devi Dasi.
The devotees all congregated at the Temple Tent in Byron Bay to celebrate this important occasion. A fire yajna for Krishna was started outside the Temple Tent for Arjuna Prabhu who went through the sacred thread ceremony, a ceremony all male devotees taking Gayatri initiation participate in. Afterwards the devotees received vibhuti or holy ash from the yajna and placed it on their foreheads to honour it.
Arjuna Prabhu, Janhavi Devi Dasi and Cintamani Devi Dasi all received the Gayatri mantra from Srila B A Keshava Maharaja by his grace, all the devotees looked so happy and blissful.
Krishna Devi Dasi came along to help celebrate the festivities!
